Just as marchers from Imran Khan’s Azadi March and Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Inquilab March advanced towards Prime Minister House from Constitution Avenue in Islamabad, another sad news has hit Pakistan. The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, against whom these marches are staged, just died in a car crash on his way to his house in Raiwind.
According to several reports, he left a meeting in Lahore and was on his way to his house in Raiwind when tire of one of the security cars from his convey busted which disrupted his whole convey leading to collision in all of the cars and reportedly, the PM Nawaz’s car got completely crushed and he died on the site along with his driver, two security guards and a high ranking PML N leader. The name of the other leader is not revealed yet.
As soon as the crash took place, the rescue teams reached the crash site and PM Nawaz’s body was recovered from the crashed car and was took to CMH Lahore via Army’s helicopter. Government has completely covered the crash site and no media is being allowed there. Furthermore, the condition of PM and details about the crash are being secret for now.
